Online Therapy

Safe for the Pandemic

With the Coronavirus situation, coming into the office, waiting around others in the waiting room, and sitting across from me for 50 minutes in an enclosed space just isn’t safe.

Even with masks and social distancing, there is a health risk, and I’m not about risking your health. Sorry, not sorry. Plus, there’s a safe alternative that research says is just as effective as in-person therapy!

Yes, that’s right – online therapy, right from your home! I’ve made this shift because of the pandemic, but now I plan to continue it – because clients LOVE it.

Be Comfy During Sessions

When it’s time for your online session, it’s OK to wear pajama pants, show up without makeup, and enjoy your coffee in your favorite mug during your session.

No one else should be in the room – except maybe your adorable pet, curled up in your lap. Yep, bring Bailey the Beagle to your online session if you like!

It’s easy to log in to our secure online videoconferencing session where you see me and I see you. Our sessions will feel as if we are in the same room!

Choose the space for your sessions. If you have a private porch area with good Wi-Fi, take your session outside for a breath of fresh air! Being more relaxed at home, you might open up even more and naturally go deeper in your sessions.

Time Saver for Women Who Are Busy AF

If it feels impossible to carve time to do something for you, like taking a relaxing bath, you don’t want to use your limited time on a commute to and from therapy. Seriously, that time adds up.

When you take out the driving time, your therapy takes less than the hour you have for your lunch break.

Schedule it on your lunch break if you’re working from home.

Therapy Throughout Texas

My favorite part of doing online therapy is that it lets me provide therapy for awesome women throughout Texas!

I might not have even met you if online therapy wasn’t an option.

Some of my clients are in small Texas cities that don’t have many therapists, especially not therapists trained in EMDR.

Help is now MUCH more accessible.

The Future of Therapy

Currently, all my sessions are online because of the Coronavirus situation.

I will continue the online option after the pandemic because clients love this option.

If/when I transition back to the in-person option, clients will get the choice of coming in, continuing online, or even doing a mix of both.
